December is always a light month for games, with the long holiday break, but there were a bunch of in-season tournaments at the end of the month to wrap up the last big wave of out-of-conference games before the conference schedule ramps up in earnest. Despite the lack of games, there were still a number of major and misconduct penalties, with December 7th setting the current season high for a single night with six.
